Oracle Database Developer (Unibet)

We are currently looking for Database Developer to fill a permanent position in the Data Management team. The successful candidate will work in a team managing data in a data warehouse solution and making it possible for the organisation to get the most out of the data in terms of reporting, statistics and forming the basis of the decision making and analytical processes.

In this role you will be responsible for managing our solution for affiliate data and pushing affiliate data into other systems. It also involves interactions with other departments to gather requirements and implement and support solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience

The role involves:

  • Advanced SQL writing and optimisation
  • Creating and maintaining PL/SQL packages
  • Data investigations and problem solving
  • Ad hoc SQL reporting
  • Internal user interaction

    • Skills & qualifications:

  • experience of working with Oracle databases (10g and above) in a developer role
  • experience with SQL and PL/SQL at an advanced level
  • experience of working with complex information structures and databases

    • The successful candidate must have:

  • understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
  • experience dealing with large data volumes
  • experience with Oracle APEX or similar tool
  • great attention to detail

    • And must be:

  • passionate for excellence in his/her work
  • passionate about complex data structures and problem solving
  • logical and inquisitive
  • able to pick up new data tools/concepts quickly
  • highly organised, detailed-oriented and thorough
  • able to work independently and as part of a team
  • a good communicator
  • fluent in spoken and written English
